The Tuila is a full-slip collar, and also sports a central-O ring for safety and versatility.  This collar was the brainchild of one of our SBDC Team members, Fiona D. - her description follows below.  Thanks, Fiona!  We love this one so much!   

"The name Tuila is inspired by Yin and Yang. Push and pull, give and take. Tui is the moon spirit and La is the ocean spirit. The waves of the ocean are constantly pulled by the moon, creating a perfect balance.

This collar represents perfect balance."

Central O ring collars are designed with "rollover safety" in mind, allowing for flex at the O ring point and allowing for collar escape should your pup become entangled in environmental hazards. Perfect for hiking and hunting dogs! 

The difference between a full or classic slip and a limited slip collar is that the limited slip collar has a built in "stop" to prevent full tightening.  The full slip does not have that stop.  Slip collars are designed to go over the head, and are generally worn slightly looser than a regular collar to allow the "slipping mechanism" to function properly.
