A multiple function dog leash offers versatility and convenience by combining several features into one leash - and we're often asked about the differences between each set-up we offer - so here's a quick run-down!
The Tribeca Hands-Free Multi-Function Leash
* 1/2" in width and 7' long (upgradable to 8')
* Dual snap ends connected by a fixed central O-ring and can be worn across the body or around the waist for hands-free walks by snapping one end to the adjustable dual O-ring stopper.
* Walk 2 dogs in tandem or use it as a double-back up leash with one snap end attached to a harness and the other attached to collar or training collar.
*Use it as a regular leash when one snap end is attached to the O-ring stopper to form a handle.
Taos Biothane Rolled Rope Leash
* TO USE THIS LEASH AS A MULTI-FUNCTION LEASH, ORDER THE DUAL SNAP OPTION
* Ultra-lightweight and only 1/4" in diameter.
*Can be easily condensed for pack or travel purposes.
* Offers the same configuration options as the Tribeca, but is rolled biothane, not flat
The Adventure Lead
* 3/4" in width - the heftiest of our Multi-Function trio (the hardware is also heftier, so keep this in mind when ordering for smaller pups)
* Performs all the same functions as the Tribeca & the Taos, but uses sliders for adjustment instead of dual O-rings

A quick word on the "hands-free" functionality, as that seems to be gaining in popularity... This is a great option for running with your dog, and for walks where you may need your hands for a cup of coffee, shopping bags, etc. ... BUT, please take into consideration your individual dog before giving attaching your pup to your body "a go". There may be a little training involved here as well (ha ha) as you acclimate your dog to a hands-free set-up. For me personally, it is a "NO-go" - 2 of my 3 Ridgebacks outweigh me, and between that and the inherent prey-drive... well, let's just say I would be a kite if a squirrel or a groundhog crossed the path.
Overall, a multiple function dog leash provides convenience, adaptability, and value for dog parents who want versatility in their leash options.
